A man suspected of robbing a Bank of America on Chandler Boulevard earlier this month robbed another bank Monday.

This time, the man robbed Compass Bank near Alma School Road and Elliot Road in Chandler, according to the Chandler Police Department.

The suspect passed a note to a bank teller in both robberies and was given an undisclosed amount of cash. In Monday’s robbery, the suspected discarded some of it at a nearby bus stop, police said.

The man is described as white, in his early 40s and approximately 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build. Police say he is “tan” and “scruffy.”

In the first robbery, the man was wearing a light blue, long sleeve button-up shirt with a red shirt underneath and an orange and black baseball cap.

In the second robbery, the man was wearing the same hat with an orange short-sleeve shirt with a long-sleeve gray or dark green shirt underneath and khaki pants, according to officials.
