PD: Man in custody after allegedly kidnapping child in Mesa, fleeing police | Arizona News

GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) − A man was taken into custody after he allegedly kidnapped at least one child in Mesa and fled police. According to the Mesa Police Department, a male suspect who claims to be the father took off with a child around 1 a.m. Mesa police put out information of the kidnapping suspect’s vehicle and shortly after, officers with the Peoria Police Department located the suspect’s vehicle. Woman arrested for stealing musical instruments from a Paradise Valley Church

PARADISE VALLEY, AZ — Paradise Valley police report a 25-year-old has been arrested for stealing instruments from the United Methodist Church over a 6-week period, which ended November 30. Police say chimes, xylophones, an electronic keyboard, glockenspiel, drum set and other instruments were stolen from the church. According to police, all of the items were pawned by 25-year-old Alexa Mills. When police searched Mills’ hotel room, they allegedly found a stolen laptop and guitar.
