Shannon had been caring for his 97-year-old mother, Leonie Shannon. Shannon originally told authorities she had walked away from the home in December and was missing, but later admitted she had died. Maricopa county close to testing all backlogged rape kits | Arizona News

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — The Maricopa County Attorney’s office announced Friday that the county has tested 90 percent of its backlogged sexual assault kits. The county has been working on the backlog since 2015.
